When Mike finally found a job, it was in a coincidental way and more and more it is turning out to be the place he was meant to be. Anyway, the other day a guy brings in a chainsaw to fix and the tag says Gary Steine…my maiden name was Steine…my dad’s brother was Gary…so even though they all lived in Minnesota and I grew up in Minnesota, Mike asks the guys if he had a brother named Curt (my dad’s name but passed away already)…the guy looks kind of suspicious and says “yeah…why?” So Mike explained who I was and turns out this is my dad’s brother and he lives on a farm about 10 miles from us. I only met him as a little kid cuz once my parents divorced, my dad and his family disappeared from our lives. Long story short, he wants to get together sometime! John Edwards says “there are no coincidences in life”…hmmm, maybe this family relationship healing stuff is reaching farther than I thought?
